What is mental training and what impact does it have on sports performance?
Welcome on
Who am I ?
My name is Malwina. I am a psychologist, sports psychologist, certified yoga instructor, Polish Champion and representative of Poland in speed skating.
Sport encompasses my whole life, and I primarily teach that in a healthy body - there is a healthy brain, and movement itself allows you to feel yourself, your nervous system and tensions. Through movement, we regulate ourselves, strengthen self-esteem and feel proficiency in our actions.
I work with athletes, teams, as well as anyone who wants to start using their full potential. I provide individual and group consultations to strengthen self-esteem, sense of efficacy, emotional regulation, stress control and many other areas. I help athletes control the mind, and non-athletes get closer to the body and use its potential to function better.
I am constantly educating myself, attending trainings and conferences. I have held a scholarship at London South Bank University. I have toured Asia, South America and all over Europe on my own. I fell in love with the world, its differences and specialties of each corner.
Philosophy
Mindfitness is my life philosophy, which I discovered through a combination of sport and psychology. It is a way of living, of perceiving one's body and strengthening the mind through the body. It pays attention to the physical in connection with the psyche. It seeks to unify the whole that we are. Nowadays, we have come to disconnect the body from the mind. Through technology and the developed brain, we spend time in our heads so intensely that everything around us fades away. The consequence of this is a disconnection from ourselves.
Mindfitness connects exercises for both, body and mind. It combines taking care of the body in a conscious way with taking care of the psyche, so that it is Us who live better. The aim is for us to be in touch with ourselves, as well as for our somatic health to harmonise with our mental health. It pays attention to every aspect by approaching the human being in a holistic way. It teaches us to breathe, to know and to empower ourselves from all sides. Each of Us is different, but We are Our Home, Our Asylum. By taking care of our physical and mental home, we will ensure that whatever is going around us, we will always feel comfortable.
This idealistic view is all about long-term work. Mindfitness teaches, supports, follows and shows how to take care of yourself, your body and your mind. But it is only up to us how realistically we approach ourselves. I am my own specialist.
